HOME CARE WORKERS WANTED URGENTLY We are now recruiting experienced Home Care Workers to work for a local domiciliary care agency with a multi-cultural mainly elderly clientele based in Chapel Allerton, Leeds 7. Home Care Workers will be delivering personal care, sitting and/or domestic services in our clients’ homes. We are looking to fill this post with persons who are: Reliable and efficient, Courteous and friendly, Respectful of the needs of the clients, Empathetic and patient, Capable of delivering high quality care to adults/elderly with a variety of care needs, Able to work flexibly; part time or full time; week days, weekends and bank holidays - on shifts between the hours of 8am-8pm, Training provided, Uniforms provided, Enhanced CRB check for all successful applicants. Car drivers with full driving licence preferred, (but will definitely consider suitable applicants without a car). Main Duties of the Home Care Worker: To assist service users with the tasks such as personal care such as; wash/shower, dress, prepare meals and/or feed (tube feed); moving & handling (manually or using hoist), toileting, catheter care, medication prompt etc. To carry out general household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and use of domestic appliances. To carry out practical tasks such as, shopping, collecting of pension and payment of bills. To promote the dignity, welfare and rights of the clients they work with.
