NVQs in Health and Social Care and Short Courses

Leeds College of Technology

• NVQ Level 2 can be completed in 6-9 months. There is no charge for candidates who have no previous Level 2 qualification (e.g. BTEC 1st Diploma in Health and Social Care).
• NVQ Level 3 can be completed in 9-12 months. There is no charge for candidates under 25 with no previous Level 3 qualification or candidates over 25 with no previous Level 2 qualification.

Wakefield College (Whitwood - Castleford campus)

• NVQ Level 2 can be completed in 10 months part-time both day and evening.  There is no course fee but you will be required to pay the City & Guilds registeration and certification fees of £95.00.
• NVQ Level 3 can be completed in 12-18 months part-time on a Wednesday evening 4-6pm.  The course fee is £400 for 12 months and £200 extra if more time required.  There is also £117 City &  Guilds registration and certification fee.
• NVQ Level 4 can be completed in 10 months part-time during the day.  The course fee is £650 plus £119 City & Guilds registration and certification.
