Care Homes – Be part of something new!

Leeds Care Association and Leeds City College have co-produced a 12 week programme of training for those working in the care sector.

  • Bespoke training for Registered Managers and Aspiring Managers – to take place at Headingley Hall
  • Bespoke training for those who work in the care sector and – to take place at Springfield Grange
  • Bespoke training for those new to care – to be advised.

Each session will last 3 hours (choice of either am or pm attendance) with new subjects covered over the 12 week period.  All training will take place in a care home where staff from Leeds City College will deliver the training.  There is no cost for this training all we ask is that you commit to attend all of the sessions.

This is a great opportunity to access training specifically developed for the care sector.  See attached poster for details about what the training covers for each staff group.  Training will start week commencing 13 September 2021, places are limited so please register your interest as soon as possible.

Please note all staff will have had to have had a negative LFD/PCR  test prior to attending the training and be willing to familiarise themselves with the host care homes visiting guidance.

Please note a flyer giving more information and contact details will be released shortly.
