Workforce Development Fund 2017/18.

If you are an adult social care employer in England, you can claim the Workforce Development Fund towards the costs of your employees completing adult social care qualifications.   There are changes taking place to learning and development within the Adult Social Care sector.  Specifically the moves from the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) to the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and from apprenticeship Frameworks to apprenticeship standards that have been implemented by the government.  These changes will have some implications for the Workforce Development Fund from the 2018/2019 funding year.

A maximum of £1,200 can be claimed per learner per funding year (April to March)

To become a partner and access NMDS you must register and have an NMDS number this can be done via www.nmds-sc-online.org.uk or you can ring the help desk on 0845 873 0129
