Well-led is a national development programme for managers of adult social care services working in the private, public or third sectors.
The programme is grounded in the reality of social care delivery and has been developed in partnership with registered managers familiar with the day-to-day challenges of leading a care team.
The Well-led programme offers a package of support and development over a three month period which includes:
- four interactive workshop sessions exploring live issues, challenges and practical examples of well-led services
- peer support and networking opportunities for you to connect with and learn from, other managers in the social care sector
- access to Skills for Care’s resources and tools for practical application in your workplace
- a programme certificate of completion and membership of the Skills for Care alumni

In order to complete the Well-led programme you will need to be able attend all four dates as indicated above.
However, if there is a date that you will be unavailable please contact the events team as we may be able to find you a date with another group.
All workshops are scheduled to start at 09.30 and finish at 16.15. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
Cost
£935 + VAT for registered manager members of Skills for Care
£985 + VAT for non-members (registered manager membership costs £35 per year. To find out more click here).
Skills for Care registered manager network members will receive a £50 discount for booking onto this programme. If you wish to receive the discount you can become a member by calling 0113 241 1279. The annual membership subscription is £35.
