to Springfield House, the friendly happy home of 22 elderly people.
We aim to help residents be as healthy, independent, safe and happy as possible.
We have spacious south facing lounges, and an activities organiser arranges interesting activities for those who wish to join in. A carer runs a crossword club most days, and there is television, drinks and crisps most evenings. We have trips out and go away for the weekend sometimes. We can help residents who have hobbies to carry on with them, and enjoy welcoming friends and families at any time.
All our food is traditional home cooked, and resident's suggestions are very welcome. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am, cooked to order, with plenty of variety. Lunch is at 12.30pm, and is the main meal of the day, and tea is at 5pm. There is a snack at 8pm. All meals can be served in the resident's own room if preferred. Hot and cold drinks are readily available.
We comply with all legislation, but our home has a bright warm family feel, and we are happy to show people round, either by appointment or just turning up.

The Cedars has been operating as a care home since 1981. Based in Methley (South East Leeds) we are in easy access of the motorway networks of M62 and M1 and we are a five minute drive from Castleford and/or Rothwell (as well as ten minutes away from Leeds city centre). Hence we provide services to both Wakefield
and Leeds Social Service Departments.
The Cedars is part of the Leeds City Council Quality Framework and is an Investor in People organisation.
The Cedars is situated in approx. two acres of grounds and we care for 42 older people, most of whom experience dementia and/or mental health difficulties. The location means that there is ample opportunity for
residents/service users to feel the benefit of taking time outside in terms of enjoying the fresh air and opportunity to exercise, including the dementia garden and the growing of our own vegetables etc!

Meadowbrook Manor is a private care home in Garforth, Leeds, for 31 residents.
We have been caring for the elderly on this site in Garforth since 1987. We have a wide range of knowledge in this area and aim to give all of our residents the best living experience.
The staff at Meadowbrook are specially trained on an on-going basis by our in-house training officer, and are qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in care. They also have a high degree of understanding of residents’ needs and wishes, This allows trust to be built up built carer and resident, an important factor when it comes to being responsible for another persons well-being.
